A costume designer and stylist with a practiced eye for detail, Maria Aguilar has collaborated successfully with numerous directors, producers, and photographers of every stripe in her career in the entertainment industry.

Originally from Ohio, Maria earned her degree from the Fashion Institute of New York, where she worked in fashion.  She later moved to Los Angeles and began working in commercials and then entertainment, specifically TV and movies.  Her reputation for excellence in all aspects of the job, from creativity to organization and execution, has led to her continued success.

Among the highlights of her career was her six-year partnership with the WB Network to create and conserve their on-air look, including high-profile image campaigns for a line-up of shows that included Smallville, Supernatural, Tarzan, Felicity, Angle, 7th Heaven, One Tree Hill, Everwood, Gilmore Girls, Charmed, What I Like About You, Reba, The Mountain, Jack & Bobby, Drew Carey, Birds of Prey, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Nikki, and Summerland.  In addition, she designed costumes for Dawson’s Creek and styled promotional campaigns for Fox, E! Entertainment and Kids’ WB.  In film, she has worked for directors as varied as James Cameron (Titanic), Joel Coen (The Man Who Wasn’t There),  Barry Sonnenfeld (Wild, Wild West) and Terry Zwigoff  (Ghost World).

Maria lives in Los Angeles.
